Pugh’s Tips & Clips
Winter Plants...
Not all plants die in the winter,
and evergreen trees are not
just for the living room. There
are many plants that thrive
when it is cold outside, and
can bring warmth and beauty to
your backyard.
Evergreen trees are just one
thing that can make you feel
like you are walking through a
colored Capra movie. Those are well-known, but also try planting berry
trees, which bloom through the winter, and add an explosion of color to a dull
sky. Apple trees bloom late in the fall, and so keep their vibrancy as winter
progresses. Also, you get apples, and that isn’t a bad thing. Pugh’s
Earthworks experts can help you design your yard and plant your trees.
